On Saturday 12th and Tuesday 15th January 2019, Landsec held their first public exhibition on the emerging principles for the redevelopment of the West 12 centre. A set of exhibition boards, which you can access here , were used to outline these early thoughts for the future of the site. Please note that these proposals do not include the two Charecroft towers which are located on top of the centre.

These headline principles were informed by the successful online consultation held last summer which focused on the future of the shopping centre and its current uses. Of the 700 respondents who filled out the initial survey, 72% felt either neutral, negatively or extremely negatively towards the site as it is. Despite this feedback, we were also told that there is still a unique local offer enjoyed by many local residents.

January's public consultation events were attended by almost 300 people, many of who provided us with their feedback around what they currently liked and disliked about the centre, building upon our initial round of surveying. Representatives from Landsec and architects Allies and Morrison were also on hand to talk through the proposals and answer any questions had by attendees.
